Can my child attend Yorley Barn and

another Nursery or Childminder?

We know that every family’s childcare needs are different, and we fully respect parents’ choices. At the same time, our experience shows that young children thrive when their week is spent in one consistent setting. By attending one setting, it helps them build secure attachments with familiar adults, settle into predictable routines, form friendships more easily and experience a seamless approach to learning.

When children attend multiple settings, they adjust to different routines, expectations and teaching styles. This can be tiring or confusing, and can make it harder to track progress or apply strategies consistently — especially for speech, emotional regulation or behaviour.

Because your little one’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, we gently encourage families to consider the benefits of keeping childcare within one consistent environment. If splitting your hours is something you’re thinking about, we’re more than happy to chat things through and help you find what will work best for your child.
